Kathleen Thompson Osteen, 85, died Saturday, March 06, 2010 in Savannah.

Mrs. Osteen was born in Savannah on May 14, 1924, the daughter of the late Lawrence A. and Meta Fischer Thompson. She attended Sacred Heart School and later Savannah High School. Kathleen worked in retail for many years, primarily in the family business of Thompson's Sporting Goods. She attended St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Osteen was preceded in death by her brother, Lawrence A. Thompson, Jr. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas A. and Flo Roberts Osteen; grandchildren, Charles and Allison Sowell; niece, Elizabeth "Ticky" Pinckney; nephew, Larry A. Thompson and wife Suzanne and several grand nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Monday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.

Graveside Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.

Remembrances: St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 7020 Concord Rd., Savannah, GA 31410.
